In just two years in office, the glaring achievements of an administration like that of Jigawa State Governor Mallam Umar Namadi shall be a testament to leadership mettle, especially in a period beset with myriad problems. No sooner had Governor Namadi mounted the saddle than he started engaging everyone on the way forward. He promised to chart a new course for Jigawa State development through a 12-pillar roadmap christened “GREATER JIGAWA AGENDA,” which are: Agriculture, Health, Information Technology, Manpower Development, Rural Transformation, Urban Infrastructure, IGR, Education, Natural Resources, Local and Investors for Development, Social Security and Securing Jigawa, not in the mid-term but during his four years in the saddle.

Agriculture & Food Security
This Policy builds on the 2016 Agriculture Policy, the Comprehensive Development Framework and the 12 Point Agenda of the current government. It provides a strategic roadmap towards transforming the agricultural sector in the state into a thriving hub of innovation, productivity, and shared prosperity.
Educational Support Initiatives
The Education Support Programme (ESP) is a foundational pillar of the Danmodi Students' Care Initiative, designed to eliminate financial and infrastructural barriers to learning. Implemented under the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Students' Matters.
Economic Empowerment & SMEs
Our empowerment initiatives in different fields such as SMEs, Artisanship, Agriculture and other fields focuses on fostering self-reliance and providing practical skills to individuals, particularly youth and small-scale entrepreneurs. in achieving excellence and fulfilling long term dreams with a view of paying back to the community
